Dr Madhavi has multi sector experience across corporate, consulting and education spanning UAE, Qatar, South Africa, Ethiopia, and India.
She has led 3 research and consulting organizations, was a division head of ACNielsen and an academic head in 3 universities.
She strongly believes that research must be reinvented in the era of knowledge consumers, interactive media and boundaryless reach.
She introduced innovative models that combine traditional research with online engagement and co-creation events that generate not only on-the-go insights, but high levels of customer engagement, user generated social media content and (E-)WoM.
She helps clients in leveraging emerging methodologies like Netnography and Market Research Online communities for co-creating customer experiences that increase retention and build customer equity.
Besides designing information architecture and decision support systems for diverse industry clients, she helps maximize their ROI from CRM, POS and VOC solutions through increased data utilization using data modelling and analytics.
She has worked for projects of World Bank, UNICEF & ILO and the Govts of Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Bahrain.
On the academic front, she is the Head of Business-Post Graduate and Chair, Research Committee in Murdoch University Dubai. She has authored more than 40 research publications in international publications and journals and is a Reviewer for the Journal of International Marketing and McGraw-Hill.
She is passionate about knowledge creation and building industry-academia linkages to support the growth of current and future managers.
Her social contribution includes guiding SMEs, micro enterprises and women’s self-help groups to attain business success.
